Labour of Love is an ongoing project where I transform the materiality of wasteful objects into positive arrangements. I make use of large format film portraits and camera-less techniques such as photograms to recycle the materials into aesthetic arrangements. The body of work invites the viewer to engage with both time-intensive laborious arrangements and the tenderness of family portraits, challenging preconceived ideas of care labour, family and motherhood.
